How do you wrap up and
pack the books ?
Single books are well wrapped and sent in a buffer envelope. Several books, CDs or
videos can travel more cost- effectively in a parcel or a box.
How long does it take to
process and ship my order ?
Most books or CDs are sent within 24 hours. If we have to find them elsewhere, the
additional time will be counted when we give you the expected delivery date.
How safe is to send
books, CDs by mail ?
Registered mail is 99.99 % safe. In addition, Culture mail is inspected by the
authorities, to check this special service for books, CDs,etc. At your end, the postman
should always ask you to show an I.D. and sign for the books.
If an item were to be reported as "lost", a meticulous investigation would then
be carried out thoroughly…and people are well aware of it. We could file a claim and
recover the loss in many countries. Anyway, so far, our experience has been just great.
It would seem also very clear that not everybody has placed the same value on books as you
have !!
Do you think it makes

How do you process my
credit card authorization ?
We report the charge to your credit card one or more days after we shipped your order.
If we figure out that we are close to the cut off date for the month, say the 20s, we will
hold it for a few more days to make sure it will go on your next month bill.
It is our policy that the amount actually charged be always lower than what you
authorized.

envían los libros?
Un libro o un CD viaja muy bien envuelto y dentro de un sobre de burbujas. Varios
artículos pueden ir de forma más económica en un paquete o caja.
¿Cuánto tardan en
procesar mi pedido y enviarlo?
La mayoría de los libros, discos y vídeo se envían en las 24 horas. Si tenemos que
pedirlos al editor, ese tiempo estará incluido en la fecha prevista de entrega en su
dirección. Siempre le indicaremos cuánto tardará en llegar su pedido.
¿Es seguro enviar libros
por correo?
Sí. Muy seguro. En el momento de la entrega de correo Prioritario, Vd. tiene que
identificarse y firmar para recibir los libros. El correo Cultura, además, es
inspeccionado por las autoridades, al tratarse de un servicio especial para este género
de artículos.
Si un libro se perdiera, se abriría una completa y meticulosa investigación. Algo que la
gente conoce muy bien…Podríamos presentar una reclamación y recuperar la pérdida
en muchos países. De todos modos, hasta ahora no ha habido ninguna en este servicio.
¡¡ Parece que no todo el mundo concede a un libro el mismo valor que tiene para Vd.!!

¿En qué momento
efectúan el cargo a mi tarjeta de crédito?
Uno o varios días después de enviar su pedido. Si estamos muy cerca de la fecha de
corte a fin de mes, en los 20s, lo aguantamos unos días mas para que el cargo llegue en
su factura del mes siguiente.
Es nuestra política que el importe real del cargo sea algo menor que lo autorizado.
